When it comes to a fantasy draft, you can never predict how they will go. That is why you need to always take what the draft gives you. In other words, never get locked in to a draft strategy. Do not always think “I’m going to take two RBs with my first two round picks.” Let’s assume you pick Saquan Barkley 1st overall in the first round and then it’s time to make your second round pick, which is the last in the second round. There could be very few quality RBs left because everyone else in front of you is picking RBs, however, there are great value WRs or QBs available late in the second round. Do not get flustered or thrown off when your draft doesn’t go as expected. Always have a backup plan and be ready to draft the best value at your position.

We are off and running here at The Fantasy Specialist. My name is Mike Orsini and I am the proud owner here at fantasyspecialist.com. I have played fantasy football for 15 years in the days before online fantasy football took place. I remember looking at newspaper box scores on Monday mornings trying to figure out how each one of my players did before heading off to school for the day. My friend who was the league manager would give me a computerized printout of the results at school and I would read it closely during class to find out whether I won or lost and why (sorry mom and dad for that D+). No live scoring back in the day. How the world has changed.
Here at The Fantasy Specialist I provide one-on-one fantasy football consulting for you and your fantasy team(s). Sign up for a subscription for the 2010 season and I will give you one-on-one personal assistance throughout the season on what moves to make including who to start, who to bench, waiver wire pickups, and trade advice. During my 15 years of playing fantasy football I have won league championships and participated in various formats: standard, point-per-reception (PPR), and even individual defensive players (IDP) in ESPN Fantasy Football, Yahoo Fantasy Football, and the World Championship of Fantasy Football.
Whether you are a novice or an advanced player, I can provide you with the statistical analysis and insights you need to dominate your league.
